VitalPress: BP & Heart Rate ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our mobile application.

By using VitalPress: BP & Heart Rate, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use this application. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Health Data

Your health records, including blood pressure readings, heart rate measurements, BMI data, and blood oxygen information, are stored locally on your device by default. We do not automatically collect, upload, or store your health records on our remote servers.

If you enable Apple Health sync, records that you choose to sync may also be written to Apple Health and will remain there until you delete them from the Health app.

2.2 Device Permissions

• Camera: Used for heart rate measurement and optional profile photo features.
• Notifications: Used for reminders related to measurements and health habits.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

• Device information, such as model and OS version
• App usage analytics, such as screens viewed and features used
• Crash and performance data
• Advertising identifier (IDFA), only with your explicit consent through the iOS ATT prompt

3. How We Use Your Information

• Display your locally stored health records and generate charts and PDF reports on-device
• Process the text you choose to enter into AI Health Advisor
• Analyze app usage to improve features and fix bugs
• Display advertisements, including personalized ads only with ATT consent
• Send reminders related to measurements and health habits

4. Third-Party SDKs & Services

We use the following third-party services. None of these services automatically receive your health records unless you voluntarily type that information into the AI Health Advisor.

5. Advertising & Tracking

VitalPress: BP & Heart Rate uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app.

• Personalized Ads: With your consent, we may use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads.
• Non-Personalized Ads: If you decline tracking, only non-personalized ads are displayed.
• Premium Users: No advertisements are shown to Premium subscribers.
• You can change your tracking preference anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > VitalPress.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

• Health data stored only inside VitalPress: Deleting the app removes the local copy stored on your device.
• Apple Health synced data: If you enabled Apple Health sync, records previously written to Apple Health remain in the Health app until you delete them there.
• Analytics data: Retained for up to 14 months, based on Firebase default settings.

7. Data Security

All data transmission between the app and third-party services is encrypted in transit through HTTPS/TLS. Health data stored by VitalPress remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it to Apple Health or type it into AI Health Advisor.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data stored in VitalPress
• Object to or restrict processing
• Request data portability

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
